Nunatsiavut Government
In late 2018, EfficiencyOne Services was contacted by a representative of the Nunatsiavut Government. Nunatsivut is a self-governing Inuit region in northern Labrador, and consists of five remote communities, each with a recreation centre. As part of its efforts to meet the region's energy needs, the Nunatsiavut Government engaged EfficiencyOne Services to provide training in energy management to the staff of the recreation facilities. In addition to these full-day technical training sessions, EfficiencyOne Services also conducted public presentation to engage community members in energy efficiency at home and work.
Notwithstanding travel complications due to northern winter weather conditions, the sessions were conducted in March 2019.
